Almost any musician can have their own profile on TheAudioSurfer.com, with the condition that they are willing to let go of a few songs for free downloading to gain a little exposure. It's actually a pretty sweet concept. Every time you send someone to check out your page you help out all of the other musicians here. Free music for everyone! It's all done through your SoundCloud, so you have full access to your own music right from the comfort of your own SoundCloud account! If you want to add or remove songs, you just change the set in SoundCloud and bam! It's like your own online business card. Telling people about your band means telling people about my site. Everyone wins! Great concept, right? Right. You even get your very own sleek url. TheAudioSurfer.com/YourBand. When you put your band on this page, it is my pleasure to brag about your band all day as well!
Here's the thing though. I am trying to do something cool for everyone and turn this website into something neat, but at the same time not trying to get sued. Which means I have to be somewhat careful about who's music I allow on the site. If you are not who you say you are, don't be surprised if you don't see your page created. If you are who you say you are, then I would love to have your music on this website! But if I don't know you personally I will have to do a little background checking to make sure you are the artist in question. I doubt you'd want someone pretending to be you and giving away your music! With that said, here is the profile form. This is not only the information on your page, this is also your resume to secure a place on this website. Take yourself seriously and so will I.
When you create your account at SoundCloud, be sure to upload your tracks and create a "set" with the music you want to host on the website. At the very least, 2-3 songs must be left open for downloading. Please only post music on the set that you wish to share on the site. This site is about free downloads! Also, the Facebook page is important. If you don't have a Facebook, you basically don't exist. The Facebook page is also essential in case I need to verify your identity as well as put a like button on your page for your Facebook account right at the top of your page! Facebook fans are important! Make sure to create a musician profile!

As stated, feel free to add anything to this form that you want. It's your page, not mine. I have a lot of work to do and you can make this easier on me by filling this form out completely and plugging yourself into SoundCloud and posting a bunch of good free music.
