Ahh, Newgrounds...
Newgrounds and I go way back, actually. When I was about 13, I created a cartoon series on Newgrounds called DBZFAN that spanned 7 episodes and won a few awards. Newgrounds has remained in place, despite very numerous threats, lawsuits, and general censorship stupidity over the years. Newgrounds was originally a website for people to submit their flash animations, however, they created an Audio Portal for musicians to submit their music, free of charge, so that animators could have a place to download royalty-free music. But in itself, it's a great way to let your music be heard. When you submit to the Audio Portal, your music travels far and wide, all over the world to ears it would have never reached. People can vote on your music, review it, add you to a favorites list as well as a buddy list, and connect with you for collaborations. Your songs will have their own special page, where people can come to download them. Truly a great service for all of those out there who wish to be heard.
Typically, all of my music goes through the Newgrounds Audio Portal before it is released elsewhere.
All of the AudioSurfer Music on Newgrounds.com is available right here!
